EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO WANTED!


Speech Time Fun, Inc. is looking to add its next rockstar to the team!

 
We are looking for a take-charge, detail oriented,  go-getter Executive Assistant to join team Speech Time Fun and support our CEO, Hallie Sherman.  The mission of the Executive Assistant is to stay five steps ahead of the CEO, keeping up with all of the administrative details so she has the space to make her greatest contribution to the business.  If you can take initiative, eager to learn, figure things out (aka "Google it") while knowing when to speak up and ask for help, a team player, and if you excel at setting and consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines, then this role is perfect for you!
 
This position will be 20 hours a week ($25/hour) with potential for more.  
We are growing and this position could turn into something even bigger for the right person.
 
We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, dependable, and can complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

 

Experience as an SLP or education a plus but not required.

 

Previous experience in an assistant-type position is a plus. 

 

This role is a part-time position with the ability to work from home.  Only applicants in the US are eligible to apply.  Position will begin immediately.

 

*Must be available to fulfill most of the job responsibilities during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, daytime work hours).

Our Mission:

At Speech Time Fun, we help busy school-based SLPs working with older speech students, by providing easy-to-use ideas and materials that will keep students engaged and making significant progress toward their speech and language goals.

 

We do this through our Teachers Pay Teachers store, Speech Retreat virtual conference, and SLP Elevate membership.  We also have a podcast SLP Coffee Talk where we share practical ideas to inspire SLPs working with older students.

 

What is it like to work with our CEO Hallie?

Hallie puts a lot of trust into her teammates to help make decisions that will move the business forward.  She empowers her team so they can hit goals without micromanaging.  Hallie is a true visionary.  She is constantly learning and growing to get new strategies and tactics.  She meets with her team on a weekly basis so they are informed of what is going on and to understand the why behind decisions being made.  You will work great with Hallie if you like to set goals, use metrics and data to analyze performance towards goals, and if you can be organized to balance with her super creative brain.

Responsibilities:

  •  Manage the CEO's calendar and assist with email inbox as needed
  • Schedule, prepare the agenda, and delegate tasks from the team's weekly meetings
  • Support the CEO in marketing and sales projects - keeping track of deadlines, collecting data, and jumping in as needed
  • Collaborate with the team as needed so that everyone is successful and meeting goals of the business
  • Taking the initiative to learn and become proficient with key tech platforms used (Convertkit, Kajabi, Monday.com, Canva, Zapier, WordPress, etc.)
  • Assist in managing TpT store (uploading resources, notes to followers, responding to reviews & questions, etc.)
  • Creating, organizing, and updating project plans for promotions in project management software
  • Backup other team members when they are on vacation or tight project timelines necessitate it
  • Handle personal and professional administrative tasks including, but not limited to: booking appointments, research projects, coordinating trade, ordering gifts, and more.
